![]() ![]() Zelena/ The Wicked WitchĪlthough prettier and better dressed than the Wicked Witch we know, Zelena has one of the most villainous personalities out of any character in the series and it never wavers. Add to that her sassy one-liners and her ability to always surprise the audience, Rebecca Mader’s Zelena not only captures the Wicked Witch’s truly evil ways, she steps it up to a whole new level and presents us with, possibly, the best incarnation of the Wicked Witch. It’s a shame OUAT didn’t utilise her character a bit more. Oh, and she’s also secretly in love with Aurora (Sleeping Beauty). ![]() What’s not to love about Jamie Chung’s Mulan? She looks the part, she acts the part, and the costumes are on-point. Robert Carlyle manages to capture Rumpel’s mischievous personality perfectly through both his high-pitched accent and body movements and despite him moving more onto the side of the good and promising to change, the writers have retained his wicked and deceiving ways, making him one of the few villains in the series who has actually stayed remotely villainous. RumpelstiltskinĪppearance-wise there’s not really much to go on for Rumpelstiltskin, but I think OUAT has done a good job in creating a Rumpelstiltskin who looks just as menacing as he acts. Although she may not be the best adaptation of OUAT, she definitely deserves to be on the list. Although the costumes may be different to what we know – and it might’ve been a nice touch to see a cameo from the famous blue and yellow dress – Snow White’s caring, determined but sometimes naïve personality is portrayed excellently. Ginnifer Goodwin’s pale skin, dark hair and beaming smile make her perfect to play Snow White. Here’s some of the best, and the worst, character adaptations which have appeared on Once Upon A Time. Some of the character adaptations are so on point physically and personality-wise it’s like that character literally jumped straight from the animated film onto the OUAT set, whereas some adaptations haven’t quite been so fortunate. ![]() If you’re not familiar with it, Once Upon A Time is a show which brings dozens of Grimm and Disney fairy tale characters together in a live-action setting. ![]()
